Empowering Thailand’s Creative Community Through Real‑Time Innovation

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Thailand’s rapidly growing creative industries through a special initiative hosted by Bangkok University, Faculty of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts, and supported by the Thailand Creative and Cultural Agency (THACCA) under the Human Resource Development Project in Virtual Production Using Unreal Engine.

The program comprised two intensive masterclass sessions designed not only to demonstrate Unreal Engine–based workflows, but more importantly to inspire, upskill, and empower professionals and students across film, media, design, games, and immersive technology disciplines.

Masterclass Themes

The sessions focused on two core topics:

  • The Age of Unreal Engine – Unleashing the Power of Real‑Time Production
  • Beyond Gaming – Unreal Engine Powering Cross‑Industry Innovation

Participants explored how Unreal Engine is transforming virtual production, real‑time pipelines, and procedural content creation, while also examining its adoption across film, architecture, broadcast, education, interactive presentations, metaverse experiences, research visualization, pipeline development, and AI‑enhanced media production.

The discussions highlighted how real‑time technologies are no longer confined to gaming, but have become essential tools across creative and technical industries.

The audience brought together a diverse mix of cinematographers, producers, directors, lecturers, CG/VFX artists, game developers, AI practitioners, and film professionals—all united by a shared drive to push the boundaries of contemporary creative practice. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with strong engagement and enthusiasm throughout the sessions as attendees explored Unreal Engine’s transformative capabilities.

The Q&A segment was particularly vibrant, featuring a steady stream of thoughtful and forward‑looking questions. I would like to commend the organizing team for facilitating the discussions with exceptional professionalism and care, creating an open and inclusive learning environment.

More than a knowledge‑sharing exercise, this initiative represents a long‑term investment in building capacity and nurturing talent—strengthening Thailand’s creative ecosystem for the future.
